Ugandan songstress Iryn Namubiru has finally been unveiled as a new artist signed under popular music record label 'Master Music Label'.

On several occasions, we have witnessed Ugandan artistes battle it out with their managers who end up confiscating their social media logins, property and bad mouthing their names on the media. With this, Iryn Namubiru swore a number of times that she would never sign under a label and it was shocking to fans to be unveiled under a label.

In the ceremony held in Ntinda, Iryn was unveiled among three other artists like King Bella, King Solomon and Sama Sojah plus other supporting artists.

"They have unveiled me at Masters Record Label as one of their artists and from today, everyone who needs me musically should go through them." Iryn told journalists.

The label, having signed a veteran artist, they expect a lot from Namubiru and when asked how she will be battling it out to compete with young artists, Iryn says she will do music at her own pace as she is not in competition with anyone.

"There is space and a platform for everybody. We are growing and everyday new talent is born. I listen to everybody and keep up with what fans want." She spoke to Spark TV.

Many people think for big artists to sign under a music label, they easily become rebellious but Iryn Namubiru says she is mature enough and has seen it all.

"I'm a mature woman who knows anything that happens in a record label. I'm not raised like that." She concluded.
