Bahati shares the secret behind his success

Having been in the music industry just for 10 months, 19 year old gospel artist Bahati has managed to get nominated for the groove awards and at the same time make it all the way to number 2 on the top ten download charts, just after two days of being present on the Mdundo platform; this Is for his song Machozi.
For a young artist who is still finding his style of music he has chosen to keep it real and so far it seems to be propelling him to great heights.

Machozi is a song which was inspired by his personal life story and as he maintains it he intends to keep it this way,
“Everything is written out of my life and I’m just trying to put it in summary even the video was shot where I was brought up in mathare, and even the people on the video are real slum people”
