Hanson Baliruno Crowns Judith Babirye Queen of Ugandan Gospel Music

Renowned Ugandan musician Hanson Baliruno has crowned celebrated gospel artist Judith Babirye as the best in the genre, amidst reports that the once best friends are at loggerheads.

Reacting to reports that he is not in good terms with Judith Babirye, Hanson said nothing can befurther from the truth, terming the gospel crooner as his 'Spiritual Mum'.

"Babirye has a different relationship with God and she is the queen of gospel music. Her music is played on all occasions. If she ever switches sides, her brand will fail," the Stars Empire chief said during a recent interview.

Hanson Baliruno started out his career as a gospel artist, but later switched to secular. While explaining the switch, Hanson Baliruno noted that he decided to emulate the Book of Songs of Solomon in the Bible that preaches about love and romance.

Meanwhile, Hanson Baliruno recently featured on Chosen Becky’s new song 'Kapyaata’ that is doing well in the country.

In 'Kapyaata' (loosely translated from Luganda to mean 'Brand New'), Chosen Becky tells Hanson how much she misses him and desires to be in his presence.

On his part, Hanson Baliruno assures Becky that their love is brand new and will weather the storm.
