Clarisse Karasira to Drop ‘Afro-humanity’ Song in Upcoming ‘Mama wa Africa’ Album

Rwandan traditional singer Clarisse Karasira has announced the release of a new Afro-humanity song that she is working on, which is part of her soon to be released ‘Mama Wa Africa’ album.

Clarisse in a recent Instagram post told her fans that a new Afro-humanity song is on the way coming.

“Indirimbo nshya irakomanga New Afro-humanity song is loading,” she posted.

Speaking of her upcoming album earlier, she posted on Instagram: “Ndashima Imana yankomeje muri uru rugendo rwa album ya mbere. Ndabashimiye ko mwabanye nanjye,nabonye ibitangaza nabonye urukundo. “Ubu rero dutangiranye urugendo rwa album yitwa #MamaWaAfrica. Muratangira kubona indirimbo nshya zihebuje ziyiriho vuba aha! Mbese mushonje muhishiwe. Aho uri hose waragize uruhare muri uru rugendo rwanjye wumve ko ngushimiye!”

The album will focus on the African woman, her kindness and the burden she shoulders to keep her people happy.

Last year, she worked on another album whose released was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Clarisse released ‘Inganzo y’Umutima’ album not too long ago. It has 18 songs and one of them is the already popular ‘Rutaremara’. Another favourite from the album was ‘Urukerereza’ where she featured Afrobeat star Mani Martin.

Karasira explained that ‘Urukerereza’ was to encourage people to explore new friendships with people who they click with.
