Grenade Official: I’m Going to Be Africa’s Best Musician

Fast-rising Ugandan artist Grenade Official has revealed that he aspires to be one of Africa’s greatest artists hailing from Uganda.

Speaking during an interview on his 23rd birthday, Grenade Official said he believes he produces great music that can help him achieve this fete.

He further noted that he has a great management team that will propel him to achieve this dream.

“I’m going to be one of the biggest musicians in Africa,” he said.

Grenade Official got his breakthrough in 2019 after releasing his viral song 'Nkuloga' and since then, some Ugandans feel he has not managed to meet the standards he set on that jam.

On several occasions, he has been referred to as a one hit wonder, something which he strongly denies.

In 2020, he had a successful music year despite the lockdown brught about by Covid-19.

The youngster has lined up several projects for 2021 including an album that will feature several top artists from across Africa like; Mayorkun, Ladipoe, Oxlade among others.

The music star further noted that he will be staging a concert as soon as the ban on public gatherings and performances is lifted by the Ugandan government.

This year, Grenade is one of the artists to watch out for in Uganda and the East African region.
