Grenade Official Clears the Air on Relationship with Zari Hassan

Fast-rising Ugandan singer Grenade Official real name Deus Ndugwa in March released a hit single titled 'Zarinah', dedicated to South African-based Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan.
Since then, Zari and Grenade fueled rumours that they were dating because of their close relationship and flirting in public.
The song released by the youngster praising the 40-year-old beauty and how much he loves her, assured people that the relationship was real.
This caused mixed reactions among Grenade's fans, with some questioning why he chose a mother of five as his lover.
Following the criticism, the 'Nkuloga’ hit maker decided to come clean on the issue.

In an interview with NBS TV, Grenade set the record straight that he is not dating Zari, adding that they are just close friends and Zari is a very good person.
"Zari is my very good friend. In fact she is my bestie. All those things that you see on social media, us calling ourselves, posting each other's photos, we do it like friends. I call her because she is my best friend." Grenade said.
In the same interview, Grenade noted that he is currently single despite being linked to different ladies around town.
He may be using Zari to promote his music career, but his fans think these scandals with different women are burying his career that had started blossoming.
