Yo Maps, Mic Burner’s ‘Pick It Up’ Surpasses One Million Streams

Zambian music star Yo Maps has a reason to smile after ‘Pick it up’ featuring Mic Burner clocked 1 million views on YouTube.
In one month, the ‘Pick it Up’ hit managed to beat odds and fly high in YouTube charts.
The song has also received huge airplay in Zambia since its release on January 25. Centered around relationships which end on the note of the woman falling pregnant, the storyline gets even better with fire-spitting lyrics by both Yo Maps and Mic Burner.

The video of a depressed young woman dumped by her rich boyfriend when she tells him that she is pregnant is the icing of the cake.
Ridicule follows thereafter but this is not the end of life for the young woman. She goes on to pursue her studies, and life changes with her new-born baby who comes with showers of blessings.

Ideally, ‘Pick It Up’ is an encouragement song to always pick yourself up after a fall and move on focusing on positivity only.
