Bruce Melodie’s ‘Abu Dhabi’ Video Hits 1.6 Million Streams

Just before the curtains came closing down on a hectic year that was 2020, Bruce Melodie stirred the waters and released ‘Abu Dhabi’. It was a big song and still is.

Three months later, it has 1.6 million views, no mean feat for any song. When he first released the song in November 2020, it garnered 146,000 views on YouTube in just 24 hours as fans praised him for giving them such a good hit.

In ‘Abu Dhabi’, Bruce Melodie reverts to his original style of music and leaves Gakondo which he had ventured into. What’s amazing about the song’s videos is the traditional theme that he chose, featuring beautiful Rwandan girls in the village and the sceneries of Rwanda that are brought about the humble yet tantalizing village life.

From the reviews of the song, it is a big deal for Rwanda and the entire East Africa.

The Rwandan artiste recently signed with Tanzanian label, Cloud9 Entertainment He now hopes to get his music to the international stage. He says that the reception of his ‘Katerina’ song opened his eyes and made him think big.

“My song ‘Katerina’ becoming a hit in the East African region, especially Kenya, gave me an impression to dream bigger. It gave me hope that my music deserves more and has the potential to reach more countries in Africa and my new management has that capacity to make it happen,” he said.

The ‘Saa Moya’ hitmaker is upbeat he will make it in the international musical scene.
