Celebrated Kenyan artist Mejja alias Okwonko over the weekend dropped a new jam dubbed ‘Siskii’.

‘Siskii’ is a song on how Mejja does not listen to advice from his friends and his mother when he is told to leave a toxic relationship with his girlfriend.

‘Siskii’ elicited different reactions from fans who shared their views on different social media platforms.

“This song is the representation of people dating a narcissist and manipulative partners...I hope we all see that message,” a fan posted on Mejja’s YouTube comment section.

Another fan hailed Mejja for bringing back his comical side in his videos.

“Now this is the real deal. Mejja’s come back. I really loved the comedies in your videos. I wish to see more of these. Congrats, I hope utaskia hii yangu.”

On Twitter, the reactions were also positive with some even thanking the other crew members for great work delivery.

Founder of African Voice Book Club Teddy Eugene congratulated the director for great directing skills which brought out the best from Mejja in ‘Siskii’.

He posted, “The director did such a great job to bring out the best of mtoto wa Khadija.”

Other fans on the same platform congratulated Mejja for always providing entertainment to them. 'Siskii' has been received well and currently has over 300,000 views on YouTube.

Meanwhile, ‘Ulimi Yangu’, which was released two weeks ago is still doing well too and currently has over 600,000 YouTube views.
