Baba Harare’s TBT Photo Details Grass to Grace Journey

Braveman Chizvino Mwanza popularly known as Baba Harare has come from far if a recent throwback photo is anything to go by.

The photo has caused a stir online as fans debate his present and yester years. Donned in oversized outfits and a guitar, the photo is evidence of his longtime love for music.

“Vamwe vari kuti ndiye vamwe voti haasi iwe unoti ndiyani [Some are claiming that it is him, while others are saying that it not him. How about you, who do you think it is?],” he captioned the picture.

Back in the day, he started Sigma Boys band which would be springboard for his musical career.

He gained confidence and skill to play live music for an audience. It is while with Sigma Boys that he met Jah Prayzah who was also working on establishing his musical career with another band he had established, Third Generation band.

Prayzah asked Baba to join his band after he made a stunning impression playing the guitar for one of his bandsmen who were absent for three days.

Eight years later, Jah Prayzah had already established a flourishing musical career. Baba Harare would later follow him and established himself as solo artiste and lead vocalist and guitarist “The City Vibration” band. One of his biggest songs is “The Reason Why” which he released in 2017.
