Soul Jah Love: How Zimbabwean Artistes Eulogized the Fallen Zimdancehall Star

The untimely death of Soul Jah Love has been a big blow to Zimbabwe’s entertainment industry.

Soul Jah died on Tuesday evening. Zimbabwean artistes have since poured out their tributes to the fallen artiste terming it a big blow to the industry.

Here are some of the tributes by Zimbabwean artistes:

Gemma Griffiths: Our country lost a legend today. Absolute heart break. My brother, we will keep your music playing, for years to come. Thank you for all you did for dancehall and for our beautiful Zimbabwe.

Tam Moyo: My heart is broken, torn I’m shattered. You were loved and adored by many, a true genius at your craft! Your truth is what set you apart from the rest! None can compare to you Chibaba, Sauro You walked so we could run. There will never be another you. You made us dance ,cry and above all laugh! You lived life on your own terms .......thank you for teaching me!! My wish was to sing with you someday but alas you sing with the angels now. Rest In Glory Our King @souljahlovemusaka a legend and beyond!

Kikkybadass: My condolences to the Musaka family and to everyone who was moved and touched by Sauro, we are greatly saddened , the entertainment industry has lost a great artist , he influenced a lot of people , he was walking proof how talent and hardwork can change your life ,from having nothing and living in the streets to buying land ,building houses and starting businesses . He left a Mark and can never be replaced. You lived your truth , lived life on your terms and that is the reason why people loved you , and from you I learnt to do this life thing how I want it , to live my truth and to do what I love no matter what the people might say.
