Listen to Dotman's Debut Album ‘Hakuna Matata’ NOW OUT

Dotman, a Nigerian singer, rapper, performer and the CEO of 808 Recordz has finally released his debut studio album titled ‘Hakuna Matata’.
‘Hakuna Matata’ is a Swahili phrase that translates to ‘No worries or no trouble’ in English.
The album that was officially released on February 5, 2021, under Labo Entertainment houses 17 tracks that run cumulatively for 56 minutes.
Dotman who is most famous for his hit singles ‘Akube’, ‘My Woman’, ‘Afro Girl’ and ‘Omoge’ does not feature any artist in this body of work that been worked on by several producers among them Cobby Dollar, PAQ, Ckay Yo, Fresh VDM and Lussh.

In a post on his official Twitter handle to introduce ‘Hakuna Matata’ Dotman described it as “the best album in 2021.”

In a statement accompanying the release of the album, Dotman’s management notes that “while several of his single releases explored his origin story and the intersections of lack, abundance and celebration, on his debut album, he expands his mastery of expressing big goals through street-friendly language with new textures, as he reflects on growing up, family (“Mama”), and living in the moment (“Let It Go”), while celebrating just how far he’s come (“Blessed”). It’s the tale of a man who knows who he is, and as the storyline evolves, so does his sound, placing his unique voice at the centre of a backdrop that’s as emotional as it is anthemic (“Tonight”).”
