According to Isaac Ruchi; who is part of the organizers, the event was postponed due to a number of reasons including surge of Covid-19 in African countries.
"It is a confirmed postponement without a lot of clarity on when they will give the new date.
"I believe it's a combination of many things not just one isolated situation. There has been negotiation with different artists and the fact that COVID is here and others countries are going back into deeper lockdown,” Ruchi said.
Meanwhile a number of Ugandan artists has expressed their reservation towards the event, noting that its timing is not the best.
