Janet Manyowa Cautions Fans against Impostor Using her Name on YouTube

Zimbabwean gospel music sensation Janet Manyowa has issued a statement regarding a fake YouTube channel allegedly bearing her name.

In the statement, Janet Manyowa cleared the air over a series of message her fans have been getting from the fake YouTube account.

“We have discovered that someone has been imitating our YouTube account with a fake Janet Manyowa profile,” part of the statement read. “This would explain the unsolicited messages you may have received over the last couple of days pertaining to prophecies and monetary donations.

“Kindly note these messages were not from us. Thank you to all those who sought clarity directly from us,” she posted.

Meanwhile, an impostor scamming people under the guise of musician Trevor Dongo was recently apprehended by the authorities.

 “We wish to advise you that all that this had nothing to do with the King of RnB Trevor Dongo prompting us to enquire further on the details of the several incidents that were arising from the young female complainants,” Eternity CEO Macdonald Macdee Chidavaenzi stated.
