Macky 2 Announces Release Date for New Album

Zambian Hip-Hop king Macky 2 is working on overdrive in 2021. He had promised new music in 2021 and true to his words, he has kept part of his bargain.
Macky 2 on Tuesday told his fans that he will release a new album in October 2021. The title of the album will be ‘Olijaba’.
He made the announcement during a live session in his YouTube channel. Now, the hip hop star who rides high and mighty in Zambia’s music industry will be sharing snippets of his work monthly.

The ‘I declare’ hit maker stated that he is aware October is far, therefore, his decision to share part of his musical projects for the album every month will keep his fan base solid.
Without divulging much, he warmed up his fans telling them to expect bigger collaborations with ‘reputable’ artistes.

He remained economical with the names of some of the artistes he will collaborate with in his new album.
Cognizant that budding artistes need to be hand-held to make it to the top, Macky 2 will feature little known names but hopes the album will be their spring board to establishing a wider fan base.
He recently released a new song ‘Alabansa’ featuring Yo Maps. ‘Alabansa’ is a song of courage and endurance, preaching good vibes to start the year and keep the faith even when things get tough.
