COKE STUDIO 2 : Review Of Jay A, Seyi Shay Dumbala Team Up

When it comes to continental music, Africa in this case, I need but only say three words, Coke Studio Africa! This past week has been full of surprise performances, but what was more marveling was the chemistry on stage! Take this past weekend’s performance between ‘Dumbala’ hit maker, Jay A and Nigeria’s darling, Sey Shay for instance.

They two did an impeccable job on ‘Dumbala’ by switching up the sound from its original version to an Elvis Presley piece; rock and roll! Jay A and the BCGs were classic, merging rap with the beautiful voices from flawlessly. Seyi Shay graced the stage just in time and switched the flows with her vocal prowess which personally made me feel like she took command of the performance.
