Zimbabwean artiste Andy Muridzo has taken an amusing route besides his music to generate income.

Muridzo is among dozens of artistes who the coronavirus pandemic dealt a huge blow for at least 10 months in 2020.

Onismo Saini; Muridzo’s manager and part of the Jeetaz Band camp said the piggery farm is located in Norton.

“We are now spending much of our time at the plot in Norton where we have a piggery project,” he said as quoted by H-metro.

Muridzo already has 150 pigs. His manager added that they are at a point where they cannot rely on music alone because concerts have been cancelled.

“We have passed a stage where we can rely on live shows only because the environment is not conducive for that thing,” he added.

Noting that farming is not a walk in the park, he cleared the air that the band is still intact and that pig rearing was just a side hustle to keep life moving.

Muridzo is expected to drop new music soon with reports of a collaboration with South-African based Nox, Beverly Sibanda among others.
