It looks like music lovers that have eagerly been waiting for the 'Prodigal' album from Nigerian singer and songwriter Mr P will have to wait a little bit longer.
The album had originally been scheduled for release in November 2020, but Mr P, formerly a member of the now disbanded P-Square pushed its release to January 2021.
Issuing his latest update about the release plans for the project, Mr P said I will be officially dropped as soon as everything is in place.
He also insisted that the 'Prodigal' album has been ready since November 2020 when it was originally scheduled for release.
"No pressure and i mean No pressure at all! The album has been ready since November 2020! Would definitely come out as soon as my team and I are done with the whole strategy and process on the distribution channels!... including paper works of everyone featured on the Album project!" Mr P said in a post on his official Facebook page.

The singer who has already release a first single off the project titled 'Follow My Lead' featuring Wande Coal further downplayed fears of delay in releasing the album.
He noted that those pushing for its quick release are only interested in criticizing the album.
"This is not a Single it’s an Album.
One thing for sure is that my Real, Loyal and True fans understands and they are Patiently waiting!
While some critics and bad belle are under pressure waiting to just criticize!" he noted.
Mr P further said he was working in building an empire, a process he says takes time - using an example of international singer Rihanna who has not released a new song in over 5 years.
"Rihanna hasn’t released any music for over 5 yrs plus! And she updates her loyal fans," noted Mr P.
"Team P! We are together and we no send dem. Building a bigger Empire is a better Goal! So Let’s keep the movement moving!...."
