Jose Chameleone Addresses His ‘Estranged’ Relationship with King Saha

Ugandan musicians Jose Chameleone and King Saha have had an on and off relationship over the years. Jose Chameleone was Saha's boss at Leone Island and the two have always heaped praises on each other on many occasions.

However, lately, they have taken sometime without appearing in public together, and even though Chameleone is vying for the mayoral seat, King Saha has never graced his public campaigns.

Speaking during a recent interview, Chameleone attributes King Saha's absence in his campaigns to being busy with family and personal businesses.

Rumours circulated that the ‘Saala Puleesa’ singer had fallen out with Jose Chameleone over Bebe Cool’s visit at his home on his birthday last year, as he allegedly felt betrayed, considering the fact that King Saha is sworn enemies with Bebe Cool.

"King Saha is my very good friend and I'm one of the few people that wish him well. I won't say I helped him but we grew close and if he got angry over this, it wasn't my fault. It was my birthday and Bebe Cool just appeared in my compound with a cake, there's no way I would refuse this.

"I apologize openly on TV if this is what angered him. Bebe Cool is my friend and we suffered together in Nairobi. He has his weaknesses and I disagree with him a number of times but I can't hate him for that. You can't put me amidst that beef," he said.
