Zambian Artistes Mourn Departed DJ King Nano

The Zambian music fraternity has mourned the passing on of King Nano; a celebrated disc jockey and brand producer.

King Nano passed on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. He made his last appearance in public on New Year’s Eve when he hosted an animated show dubbed “Glow” at Vix Falls, Olf Fez Bar.

Following his demise, top Zambian entertainers poured their condolence messages saying that it is unbelievable that King Nano is no more.

“This hurts so bad @kingnano_z this hurts so bad,” Mampi Queen Diva condoled.

Hip hop king Macky 2 Kopala wrote: “Journey Well My Brother…Till We Meet Again. R.I.P King Nano.”

It remains unclear what led to the sudden demise of the King Nano, a father of one who close friends say treasured and always put his family first above everything else.

Four days ago, Zambia also lost another great soul, radio personality Zack who had also immensely impacted the country’s entertainment industry.

He hosted a show on Hot FM and was loved by artistes for the support he gave them in promoting their music.

“This is heartbreaking you did so much for the Zambian music industry Zackadocious,” Mampi condoled.

In September 2020, Zambia also lost another great soul, Daev who was XYZ Entertainment lead vocalist. Daev who had carved a niche in the hip hop industry perished in a road accident.
