Celebrated Kenyan artist Bahati has opened up the New Year with a hit dubbed 'Tomato'.
Taking us back to the 'Mtoto wa Mama' era, Bahati perfectly delivers this love song which he penned for his creator.
The song praises the beauty of God and compares it to tomato and ketchup. He opens the song by addressing the people who have been saying he lacks content, emphasizing that they just don't know that in this match, God has made him a pro like Messi.

The quality audio was produced by EMB records and Shalzbaro with Director Ivan from Tanzania directing the visuals.
'Tomato' has been well received and already has over 89,000 views few hours since the premiere on YouTube.

Meanwhile, Bahati recently penned an open letter addressing President Uhuru Kenyatta, following the extension of the countrywide curfew to March, 2021.
In the Instagram post, he explained to him that locking down the economy and limiting events, was bringing adverse effects to the people who work in the entertainment industry.

“Dear Mr President; Happy New Year... This is 2021; No PR No Stunts No Kikis... Just to let you know that this musicians are someones husbands, wifes, Dads and Mums. Yes, we have people who fully depend on us and we have employees too. Your Excellency I don’t know if in your Cabinet theres anyone who cares about the creative industry; the Djs, event organizers or anything concerning the entertainment industry... But if you keep locking down the economy and limiting events that we fully depend on thats simply killing our careers!!!” his post read in part (Sic).
