1. "Made In Lagos" by Wizkid
This is 4th LP work by Nigerian Singer and performer Wizkid featuring the best in Nigeria and abroad including Burna Boy, Skepta, H.E.R,Elle Mai and many more. Made in Lagos has already received global recognition, including being named one of the Guardian UK’s 50 best albums of 2020, and Vogue top 12 Albums of 2020.
2. "A Better Time" by Davido
Davido’s A Better Time featured collaborators including international hip hop stars Nicki Minaj, Nas, Young Thug and Hit-Boy, as well as Tiwa Savage (Nigeria), Mayorkun (Nigeria), Sauti Sol (Kenya) and Sho Madjozi (South Africa). The project swiftly made it onto two Billboard charts simultaneously, debuting on the World Album Chart at number 4 and number 170 on the Billboard 200 Chart. A Better Time surpassed 213 million streams across major digital platforms a month after its release.
3. Twice As Tall by Burna Boy
Twice As Tall was released and it earned Burna Boy another Grammy nomination. GQ said, "Burna Boy’s global sound somehow got even more universally enjoyable, slickly blending Afrobeat and dancehall rhythms, R&B sensibilities, hip-hop flows, and reggae’s passion into a singular sound. 4. Warriors by 2Baba
2Baba dropped his much-anticipated album titled Warriors, a follow-up to the artist's last project Ascension which was released in 2014. Warriors features music heavyweights including Burna Boy, Olamide, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, AJ, Peruzzi, Syemca and HI Idibia.
5. Celia by Tiwa Savage
Tiwa Savage’s third album Celia proved right Tiwa Savage's vocal power and immersive melodies. Released on 28 August, the 13-track masterpiece was listed among Time Magazine’s top 10 albums of 2020. It featured fellow Nigerian artists Fireboy DML, Naira Marley, Dice Ailes and Adekunle Gold, as well as the UK’s Stefflon Don and Sam Smith. The project includes big tracks such as ‘Park Well’, ‘Koroba’, ‘Temptation’ and ‘Save My Life’.
