The Ministry of Health in Uganda has petitioned the Ugandan Communications Commission to ban on Eezzy's trending song dubbed 'Tumbizza Sound' from playing on all media platforms.

According to the Ministry of Health, the viral song has messages contradicting the guidelines provided by the government in a bid to prevent further spread of Covid-19 virus.

“It has been noted with concern that there is a song being broadcasted on electronic and social media with messages contradicting the Ministry of Health standard operating procedures on COVID-19 prevention titled “Tumbiza Sound” by Eric Opoka A.K.A Eezzy. The message in the song has, in turn, caused misinformation among different audiences and subsequently creating complacency among the public," the Ministry of Health’s letter read in part.
