Celebrated Kenyan artist Masterpiece King has dropped a new jam dubbed ‘Bandia’.

‘Bandia’ is a Swahili word that means fake. The song was composed by Prince Jawabu with Jegede producing the audio.

He didn’t know that when God was blessing him they were actually hurt on the inside. The chorus tells people to sweep fake friends, family, fake love away from their lives.

It also addresses common practices of fake people in our lives today. For example, how sometimes people will not support your business but will attend your parties. Another incident is when we are faced with tragedies, they don’t have money to help but are the richest people in parties.

The visuals which were directed by Ricky Becko are clean and creative with a simple setup drawing all your focus to Masterpiece King.

The jam has been received well by fans and already has over a thousand eight hundred views on YouTube in just a few hours.

Meanwhile, 2020 has been a great year for Masterpiece King’s music career. In June, he featured Khaligraph Jones on his jam ‘Nikupee’ which has been doing well and already has over 272,000 views on YouTube.
