EXCLUSIVE: It's A Lagos Nairobi Collaboration!

What excites me about collaborations is the concept of two contrastive artists acting on a single idea and uniting both particular aspects to sound uniform; night and day become one and the sight is breathtaking! Now with that thought in mind, picture two of Africa’s greatest music icons sharing a studio and you the fan being the sole consumer of the fruits the collaboration bears. Who? Victoria Kimani and Wizkid!
Kenya’s own Queen and Chocolate City’s signee, Miss Victoria Kimani is in the studios with Nigeria’s king of the airwaves, Wizkid. They shared the excitement via Instagram by posting the photo below saying, “Studio with my G @victoriakimani. Lagos To Nairobi!”
So what kind of sound should we expect from the blend of these two? A video perhaps? Well, the possibilities are endless in this case, with the reputation of both artists in mind. We will keep you posted on any developments to this story. Don't forget Wizkid will be at the Carnivore grounds, Nairobi on the 19th of October.
