Ghanaian Afrobeat musician, Kelvyn Boy’s dad has passed on. Mr Solomon Owusu Yeboah met his death on the 13th December 2020.
The passing on of Kelvyn’s father, Mr Solomon Owusu Yeboah, was received with a lot of sadness and was made public by his manager, Kwabena Derrick-Diddy. The announcement was made through a simple post sighted by Zionfelix.net.
The sad news was announced with a photo of Kelvinboy and his late father. Diddy captioned the photo: “It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Mr Solomon Owusu Yeboah. Father of singer Kelvyn Boy. May His Soul rest in Perfect peace?? Till we meet again”
Kelvyn Boy also went ahead and wrote on his Twitter handle that, "Woke Up to the painful news of the loss of my dad. Oh, what a year. Rest Well Mr. Solomon Owusu Yeboah...till we meet again. God always knows best"
Kelvyn Boy is the first born of his three siblings. His mother Adwoa Safoa died at an early age. Although Kelvyn Boy is saddened by the death of his father, Mr. Solomon Yeboah showed little concern towards his children despite him having been wealthy. Sometime back, the young musician said in an interview on the Celebrity Ride with Zionfelix show that “My father expressed less concern about my siblings and me, and it has been more than a decade since I saw him. If he was to come around, I would warmly welcome him.” May his soul rest in peace.
