Late DJ Miller’s Album ‘Shani’ Launched in His Memory

A new album dubbed ‘Shani’ has been launched to the honour of the late Rwanda disc jockey, DJ Miller who died in April, 2020.

Before his death, DJ Miller had been working on an album and his demise dealt a huge blow to his fans and family.

However, a lovely artiste he was, his family decided to carry on with his legacy by completing the album whose work was ongoing.

The album was named after his daughter ‘Shani’. Seven months later, a virtual concert was held to launch the 10-track album where he featured several artistes in his songs.

DJ Pius is among the high-flying artistes who were featured in the new album. He put up a riveting performance as his colleagues joined him in the new song ‘Enjoyment’ which he did alongside Dj Toxxyk and DJ Maranaud.

From the album, other artistes who performed virtually include Riderman, Uncle Austin, Peace Jolis, Mike Kayihura among others.

At 29 years old, the talented DJ had a battle with stroke and he finally succumbed in April.

He departed the world leaving his wife Hope Nigihozo and only kid, Shani who was epitomized in the album.

Davy Denko produced ‘Shani’ which is slowly becoming a big album in Rwanda in memory of a great soul that departed so soon.
