Rwandan Artistes Honor Late DJ Miller’s Final Wish

Born Virgile Karuranga 29 years ago, the great man who turned to become a popular disc jockey; DJ Miller made a life out of music.

However, the famous DJ Miller battled a serious stroke but even with a strong will to come through it, he still succumbed to the disease in April leaving behind a young family and a promising music career.

Following the launch of his new album ‘Shani’ Rwandan artiste came together not just to fulfill his wish of completing the album, but completing a house he was building his mother.

DJ Miller was the only child of his mother and he had promised to build her a house out of his music career but death came soon.

The structure was 60 percent done at the time of his death. In honoring Miller’s final wish, DJ Pius has organized a funds drive to help raise money not just from artistes but also Rwandan citizens to help complete the house.

The late Dj Miller was a brother and a friend to most of us but most importantly a husband to his lovely wife, a son to his beloved Mother and a wonderful Father to his daughter Shani that he has left with us.

“We felt the obligation and the need to support his family as his friend and fans through a fundraising to build a house for his wife and daughter and to finish his mother's house that he had already started! The engineer has estimated 55 million RWF for completion of both houses,” a message on a Go Fund Me account reads.
