Zuchu Hits New Career Milestone as She Features on 2020 Soul Train Awards

Tanzanian singer Zuchu recently hit a new career milestone after featuring in the 2020 SoulTrain Awards held on November 30th.

Through an Instagram post, Zuchu shared a short clip that was part of this year's Soul Train Cypher contest.

Zuchu was delighted to part of the select few youths from across Africa who participated in the cypher.

“Kijana wenu Nilipata nafasi ya kushiriki Kwenye SoulTrain Awards soul Cypher ya mwaka huu ya @bet_africa .Katika vijana wachache wa Nchi mbalimbali za Africa mimi pekee Ndo nimeiwakilisha TANZANIA . Tayari inaruka kupitia @bet_africa Na kwenye youtube yao .Lakini pia tayari nimekuekea nilichokifanya kwenye hii soul Cypher youtube channel yangu ,” posted Zuchu.

SoulTrain Awards is an initiative by BET to celebrate entertainers from the African American community.

Nigeria's Wizkid was the only musician from the continent to win the awards for his contribution to the Lion King album by Beyonce.

Zuchu featuring on the awards is yet another win for the WCB singer who has just nine months in the music industry.

Zuchu's star has been shining bright across the continent, winning fans all over. Recently, she was crowned best newcomer in Africa during the Afrimma music awards held in Dallas, Texas.
