Mombasa-born musician Jaystar has been having serious heart problems and has chosen to let everybody know with his new single out this week “Pigo La Moyo” meaning Heart beat in Swahili.
The song expresses his feelings for a woman so strong the anxiety sometimes makes him feel like “a toothless person chewing on a bone…” according to some of the lyrics. “Pigo La Moyo” is in free-flowing Swahili lyrics over a fresh Afro beat with coastal undertones. The video is shot in an authentic African setting depicting the effect love and the song “Pigo La Moyo’ has on ordinary people. It has a sprinkle of comedy and is bound to resonate with lots of people in Africa.
