‘Gemma’s ‘+263’ Video Goes Viral in Zimbabwe

A week into the release of ‘+263’ hit by Zimbabwean Afro soul queen Gemma, the song has hit more than 100K views on YouTube.

In ‘+263’, Gemma features Nutty O D Bwoy and Asaph Afrika. Awed by this progress, she took to her Facebook page to thank her fans for their support.

Gemma, a talented soul said she could not wrap her mind around the fact that she woke up to the song garnering more than 100,000 views on YouTube.

“I woke up to 100K on the +263 video today! Thank you so much for the love - it’s brought me such joy,” she posted on Facebook.

Attaining over 100k views on YouTube in one week is no mean fete especially in Zimbabwe when many artists struggle to get such viewership.

The new song is classically beautiful to listen to and has a vibe of loyalty which Zimbabweans love greatly. Following the new release, her fans hailed her for giving them good music worth their time.

Tichaona Guvamombee wrote: “Gemma I luv u so much nd I’m proud of u unondigonera.”

Senamile Donga said the song inspired him and his wife to a point that their new born baby girl was named Gemma. “Gemma me and my husband love you so much iI gave birth to a bouncing baby gal and we named her Gemma,” he said.

The new song comes a few months after her “Ndinewe’ hit which she went on to have a remix of with Baraka The Prince and Linex.
