Renowned Kenyan artist Ringtone Apoko has dropped a new video dubbed ‘Omba’ featuring Christina Shusho.

‘Omba’ is a Swahili word that translates to Pray. According to Ringtone, ‘Omba’ is a song encouraging faithful to pray for their loved ones going through difficult times.

“This is a song encouraging everyone to pray for whatever situation they are in. The song talks about praying for one another instead of being happy for our friends' downfall. Indeed when you pray God will refuel you and make you strong to overcome,” he captioned.

‘Omba’s’ audio was produced by super producers; Ogopa and Teddy B, while the visuals were directed by Hanscana.

As usual, Christina Shusho has nailed her verse and blessed us with amazing vocals that will leave you replaying the song over and over again.

“Kuna yule unangoja nishindwe, oo nishindwe, mbona unaomba nishindwe,mimi nishindwe.Kwani wanitakia mabaya, wewe mabaya, ndugu omba, niombee,” the song’s lyrics read in part.

 ‘Omba’ trended on Twitter for the better part of Tuesday, with fans hailing the two for working on the uplifting jam.

On YouTube, the song has already managed over 15,000 views in a few hours an indication that it is set to be a massive tune.

‘Omba’ is the second collabo between the two. In 2016, they released ‘tenda Wema’ which has over 5 million views on YouTube.
