G.N.L Zamba Finally Releases his New ‘The Spear’ Album

Veteran Luga flow rapper G.N.L Zamba has finally dropped his much-awaited 'The Spear' album.

While other artists were on break due to the lock down, the Baboon Forest boss was busy in studio working on new music.

'The Spear' album mainly addresses celebrating the small wins in personal growth, Lugaflow and Black excellence.

It is a blend of both Luganda and English. The album was produced by Fly Tucker at Los Angeles based L’Atelier Studios and has a total of 11 tracks including; Black Ceaser, Africa, Black Red Yellow Blue, Boarders, Energy, Sweet Uganda (Star Taffa), The Spear, Wake The…Up, Who Got The Power, Zamba The Great and Zim Zim Bombo.

The album features drums by Tony Austin who has performed with Kamasi Washington and Lauryn Hill among others and bass guitar by Dante Pascuzzo from the Grammy award winning band Quetzal.

GNL Zamba has been a face to reckon in the Ugandan hip-hop industry. Known for his story telling skills, he is one of the long serving rappers in the country.

‘The Spear’ now joins his growing list of albums and EPs that include; ‘Riddles of life Koi Koi’, ‘Speaking Vernacular’, ‘Uganda Yaffe’, ‘I Am Zamba/Ceasar’ and ‘Dreaming in Colour’.
