Diamond Praises Babu Tale as he Takes over Morogoro Parliamentary Seat

WCB boss Diamond Platnumz has sent his final best wishes to Babu Tale as he takes over a parliamentary seat.
Before being elected unopposed, Babu Tale served as one of Diamond Platnumz’s managers at the Wasafi label.
The new Morogoro MP was sworn into office on Tuesday. Through a post on his socials, Diamond stated that he does not doubt that Tale will be a better leader, having excelled in the art scene.

“Toka mwanzo nasema sina Mashaka na wewe. Kama uliweza kutuongoza Vijana wengi kwenye sanaa na Shughuli mbalimbali mpaka leo tumefikia hapa. Basi najua Morogoro Kusini Mashariki iko Mikono salama,” posted Diamond.

Babu Tale was elected on a CCM ticket, and he joins other musicians like Mwana FA, who clinched parliamentary seats in the just concluded elections.
In recent years, Tanzania has seen famous players in the art industry crossing over to politics thanks to their massive influence.

Diamond is among individuals speculated to have political ambitions in the future. However, the singer has ruled out joining politics anytime soon.
He maintains that he will support any candidate who is development minded. He was busy on the campaign trail pushing for President John Magufuli’s re-election.
