Rwandan musician Sefu Kayambi has been missing from action for a while but as they say, when music in the blood, it will always come out.

True to this, he is back with a strong resolve which is to entertain his people after giving them a taste of Iturije’, and followed it with, ‘Kubwawe’ jams which he did eight years ago when he was a high school student.

Eight years later, Kayambi has now gained financial footing and has awed Rwandans with the release of his new song ‘Inshuti Gusa’.

‘Inshuti Gusa’ is the launchpad to his new career in music from a professional standpoint.

For the new release, Kayambi enlisted the service of talented producer JAY P while Bob Chris Raheem did the video of the song.

His music is inspired by the happenings of life, broken hearts and love being key in his composition of music.

“My songs are inspired by events in my life and the people around me. The story in ‘Inshuti Gusa’ is about loving someone for a long time and when they lose interest, you wish they could at least remain friends,” he said as quoted by New Times Rwanda

He plans on getting a bigger fan base by focusing on among other things, the language that he uses in his composition.

Kayambi is also looking at a unique style of doing music to set him apart from his peers in the industry.
