Bernard Bagenzi, the proprietor of Incredible Records who doubles up as an audio producer has broken the silence on questions he has been pondering over regarding Rwanda’s boy band Active.

Bagenzi says he held their hand when they started out their music journey, and with years of experience, he showed them the ropes of the game. However, they would later choose to work with another recording label and not his, despite him nurturing them.

Bagenzi wonders what could have pushed Active to sign with Infinity Records. He made it clear that Active owed him nothing and he did not owe them a thing but was just wondering why they quit.

“Active crew didn’t owe me anything and I didn’t owe them either but out of the blue, the boys decided to leave me for another label. Up to now I have never figured out the real reason why they left me but I don’t blame them. I believe people grow up and move on to look for greener pastures,” Bagenzi said as quoted by KT press.

Active seemingly followed in the steps of other Rwandan artistes who started their careers courtesy of Bagenzi but ended up signing with other labels. Other big names who have fled from Bagenzi include the sensational Meddy, Young Grace, Davis D, Kavin Kade and Danny Nanone.

Bagenzi who started off as an artist before transitioning to an audio producer and manager, has been in the game for more than a decade.
