Winky D Explains Why He Has no Plans for Dropping an International Collabo

Winky D is Zimbabwe’s most revered artiste who has shaped what is today’s Zimdancehall music.
Being in the music industry for more than a decade, Winky D has stunned many people over his reluctance to feature an international star in his musical works.
Years have dragged by and he has not featured any international star; not by design but it is by default.
Speaking during a recent interview with Trevor, Winky D explained his hesitation with having an international star feature in his music.
For him, the decision not to even think about it boils down to the cost implication and value added.

For Winky D, spending millions of dollars just to have an international artiste feature in your song and end up making losses has been an absolute turn off.
“I don't need to pay big just to feature an acclaimed music giant, just for the hype that I sang with so and so, yet in the books I would have lost around USD50, 000,” he said.
This fired up a debate among his fans, a majority of whom agreed with his school of thought.
Others praised him for believing in his talent and not having to rely on big names abroad to market his music while he reels in losses.
