WCB Hails Zuchu for Tremendous Success Achieved Six Months after Her Unveiling

The Wasafi Classic label has hailed singer Zuchu for her success in the Tanzanian and African music industry.

The label hailed Zuchu for standing out and inspiring many with just six months in the music industry.

Through a Twitter post, WCB added that Zuchu needs recognition for standing out as a fashion icon.

“When you think back over @officialzuchu career, it’s hard to believe she’s just 6 months old in the game. Zuchu journey is one that’s bursting with accomplishments. Add to that list a well-developed sense of style and it seems there’s nothing this young star can’t do,” the post read.

Zuchu was officially unveiled in March as the new WCB musician by dropping the ‘I am Zuchu’ EP that has been successful.

The singer has gone ahead to break several records on various digital music streaming platforms. For instance, she is the most streamed female musician on Boomplay Tanzania.

She has risen to be arguably bongo’s best female musician. Furthermore, her star has continued to rise doing collaborations with other continental top stars like Joeboy.

Before being unveiled by WCB, Zuchu worked as a back singer to Diamond Platnumz for four years.

She comes from a musical family. Her mother Khadija Kopa is a legendary Taarab musician.She has played an instrumental role in Zuchu’s career.
