Yemi Alade's Album Ready, Expected This November

Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter, actress and activist Yemi Alade has announced that her anticipated album is now ready.

Since the start of 2020, Yemi Alade has been said to be working on a new album but until Friday, October 29, she had not publicly commended on the anticipations.

But taking it to her Twitter handle, Yemi Alade said the album is scheduled for release this November.

"Album is ready November .... here we go," she tweeted.

The title of the album that will be the fifth from Yemi Alade is yet to be revealed.

So far, the singer who won the Peak Talent Show in 2009 has released two songs believed to be part of the upcoming album.

She started off her year with the hit single 'Boyz' before following it up with 'True Love' that has a colorful and energy-parked visuals.

Both songs have performed well on various digital platforms with 'Boyz' video having been watched over 2.8 million times while 'True Love' has over 3.9 million views.

Born Yemi Eberechi Alade, Yemi Alade had a hit with her single "Johnny" in 2014 and since then, she has gained prominence in the music industry following the releases of her albums 'King of Queens' and 'Mama Africa', which made her embark on world tours.

Yemi Alade released her fourth studio album 'Woman of Steel' on August 30, 2019, through Effyzzie Music Group and Universal Music Africa.

The Afrobeats album that incorporates elements of R&B and highlife features collaborations with Rick Ross, Duncan Mighty, Angélique Kidjo and Funke Akindele.
