Multi award-winning Zimbabwean dancehall and reggae artiste Buffalo Souljah has spoken of his sixth album that was released early October.

The South African-based Zimbabwean artiste said the message in the ‘Unity’ album is all about unity and strength.

True to his inspiration, the album features songs from different genres which is a catch in preaching the message of unity among people.

He told a local blog that the album capitalized on the power of Afro reggae dancehall fusion and featured different artistes from the continent for the purpose of the unity agenda.

“This album is different in so many ways from Afro reggae Dancehall fusion sounds to the features amalgamating from some African artistes bringing unity through music,” he said.

He went on: “The message in Unity is Strength, unity means in market, unity is wealth. The concept behind #Unityalbum is me targeting African artistes that I’m friends with to spread a powerful message of unity amidst the dark times.”

The new album continues to expand his support base as he reaches out to his fans with music that has a call to action which is unity.

In his fifth album which he released in 2017 titled ‘Born Again’, Buffallo Souljah managed to capture a huge fan base in Zimbabwe and South Africa which are his main operating ‘bases’.

In ‘Born Again’ he featured Zimbabwe’s King of dancehall Winky D and Frank Casino among others. With ‘Unity’ album, he could gain more mileage as he features not only the African culture but goes deeper into the Caribbean and Rock bands.
