NEW MUSIC: Another One From One Of Bongo's Most Accomplished Rappers

When it comes to Tanzanian music scene, it is inconceivable to say the word ‘hip hop’ without Nikki Mbishi! With the his name on almost every hit that is on the music charts, he has rightfully earned the title of being one of the most polished rappers to step out of East Africa. And recently he released a new single just to remind you of that fact just in case it escaped your mind, “Michepuko” featuring Wynjones.

With the same over the bar beats and rap, ‘Michepuko’ is that song you wouldn’t mind listening to even if Swahili was a foreign language to you. Which I think is what makes him an exceptional artiste; Good music conquers language barriers.
Wynjones introduces his singing element into this song and makes it a complete masterpiece. His voice mellows things while still being able to finely merge with the rap. Bongo music never sounded this good – hip hop never sounded this good!
