Banky W Features 2Baba, Waje, LCGC In New Song 'Talk and Do'

After a long break from the music scenes, Nigerian singer, rapper, actor, entrepreneur and politician Banky W is back with a new track.
Titled 'Talk and Do', the new song produced by Masterkraft is a thoughtful one and resonates well with what is currently happening in Nigeria.
Banky W enlists the services of a host of popular Naija singers among them living legend 2Baba, Waje, Timi Dakolo, Brookstone and Gospel Choir, LCGC.
'Talk and Do' is a call to action song, and seeks to urge Nigerians to do more than just talk.
While sharing with his Twitter family about the new song, Banky W noted that it was originally scheduled for release in 2021 but had to be rescheduled as "the message is so necessary right now".
“For those who have been waiting on new music… I got together with @official2baba, @timidakolo, @officialwaje, @bigbirdkuti, @masterkraft_, @mybrookstone & @lagoscommunitygospelchoir to make an amazing song called “Talk and Do”. We were originally keeping it for the album dropping in early 2021, but the message is so necessary right now, I think we should premiere it…” Banky W tweeted.
In another tweet, Banky W who is also reffered to as Banky Wellington noted that the new song is both for those that have been part of providing a solution to problems in Nigeria and also an inspiration to those yet to join the bandwagon.
"If you've been doing something...anything... to be part of the solution, then hopefully this is your soundtrack. If you haven't, then hopefully this is your inspiration," he noted in another tweet.
The song already has a Lyric Video posted on YouTube.
In a statement explaining the idea behind the new song 'Talk and Do' Banky W said "Just “talking” about our problems is not enough – we’ve got to try and do something about them. That’s what “Talk and Do” is all about… combining actions with our words, to try and be a part of the change we’d like to see in the world.
