Ugandan artiste Ykee Benda has announced that his newly established Mpaka Records studio is closed until further notice.

This comes shortly after unidentified goons broke into the premises earlier this week and made away with some studio equipment.

The Uganda Musicians Association President made the announcement on his social media pages, stating that the studio was out of bounds for non-employees, also apologizing for the inconveniences.

"Due to issues beyond us Mpaka records studios are out of bounds for non-employees till further notice. Forgive us for any inconveniences in due course everything will fall back into place," he posted.

Ykee Benda unveiled his Mpaka records label in November 2018; two years after he started working on the project.

He then signed his first artist Dre Cali under the label in October and he has been doing a great job in promoting him.

Earlier this year, he expanded the label by venturing in video production under 'Mpaka Records'.

Meanwhile, Ykee Benda is currently flying high with his latest hit single dubbed 'My Bebe'.

In 'My Bebe', Ykee Benda thanks his lover for making her way into his life. He says he has been searching and seeking for true love but all has been in vain.
