One On One With Gold Digger Hit Maker, Jackie Chandiru

Jackie Chandiru is one of Uganda’s leading female R’n’B artists and vocalists. Having gotten into the music back in 2004 after emerging the winner of Coca Cola popstars with girl trio Blu 3, she embarked on her solo career in 2010 after Blu 3 went on leave releasing her first single 'Agassi' in both Lugbara (her native language) and English.
This song earned her recognition as a solo artist and earned her an award Best R’n’B single in the just ended Diva awards. She has since then been on an upward scale in her career with the release of several other hit singles most recently being 'Gold Digger'
Drawing her inspiration from her heart and obsessive fear of failure, she would love to be remembered for her resilience and zeal to conquer territory in her line of work that people wouldn’t expect a female to.
