Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter Skales has released a new song addressing the current trending topic in Nigeria – police brutality and killings.

The new song titled ‘Tell Us’ is produced by T.U.C.

In ‘Tell Us’, Skales sings about how the government and elected leaders have failed its citizens, turning into oppressing those that are calling for a change in governance and police.

The song also addresses corruption and other injustices in society. “They loot and leave us in recession,” reads part of the lyrics in the song.

Skales has already released an official video for the ‘Tell Us’ song that incorporates scenes from recent protests that are pushing for an end to police brutality and disbandment of the special police unit – SARS.

Now tell me what they gon tell us We rolling like big propellas We loud it like vuvuzelas We loud it like we loud it like x 2

Unanswered questions plenty oppression Mismanaged power ruined our nation System ain’t good to us They try to us They lieing they don’t know what to do with us

Depression plenty aggression They loot and leave us in recession System ain’t good to us They try to us They lieing they don’t know what to do with us
Still we rise still we rise Until the change we want begins x2

Now tell me what they gon tell us We rolling like big propellas We loud it like vuvuzelas We loud it like we loud it like x4
