Ghanaian Twitter Reacts to Kwesi Arthur's Feature in BET Hip-Hop Cypher

A huge secyion of Twitter users in Ghana have reacted to the enlisting of young Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Kwesi Arthur, on BET Cypher.

The BET Awards is the biggest celebration of black entertainers in the world. The year cypher of hip hop artistes have launched the career of many musicians or the first to give them the mainstream limelight. Case in point is Nicki Minaj’s feature in the 2009 cypher.

Being the only Ghanaian to have been featured on the project so far, Kwesi Arthur will be representing Ghana in the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards Cypher.

Reports circulating on other blogs indicate that the performance has already been recorded and it will be streamed during the award show this Wednesday.

Since the news hit online, Ghanaians have been pretty excited and have shared congratulatory messages on Twitter showing love and support to the young artiste.

Born Emmanuel Kwesi Danso Arthur Junior, Kwesi Arthur was nominated for Best International Act at the 2018 BET Awards. He is currently considered one of the best young artists in Ghana.
