Chemistry between me and Rabbit was great, says Kanana

Kanana is a name that has become familiar to many Kenyan music lovers in the past one week with her current reign in the industry as a signee at Kaka Empire records.

Kanana, whose powerful sultry voice is hard to pass by not forgetting her prowess in execution of notes and songs which is simply flawless, has been singing for a couple of years now, mainly as an instrumentalist, but currently she wants to focus more on her music.

She recently released a song titled ‘Ni mapenzi Tu’ which features Rabbit, and so far it has it has been receiving positive reviews and good radio airplay even managing to make it to number 1 on the Mdundo TOP25 weekly chart.
Speaking to Mdundo over a phone interview she was able to get more into the details of what inspired the song

“Being a single lady, I wrote this song as a dedication to the kind of man I wish for and what I hope can happen to me when I’m in a relationship. To me this song was an appreciation to all the people out there in beautiful relationships.”

The song is currently available for free download here on Mdundo and as Kanana explains it is worth downloading “This song is amazing deep and its definitely something I have not heard in other love songs; the chemistry between me and Rabbit on this song is also great so I’m certain that the song is one to love,” she noted.
