Highlights From the 2020 BillBoard Music Awards

The Billboard Music Awards were supposed to happen in April but they were pushed back as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Six months later, the award show has finally happened and we are going to recount that.
Kelly Clarkson returned as the host of the award show for the third time in a row. The bubbly host had the pleasure of bringing some amazing performers on stage including; Alicia Keys, John Legend, Demi Lovato, Bad Bunny, Brandy, Ty Dolla Sign, BTS, Doja Cat and more.
John Legend took to stage to dedicate a rendition of his single ‘Never Break’ to his wife, Chrissy Teigen. This is after they lost their baby a couple of weeks ago. This is the first time John has been seen in public since the ordeal.
Many accolades were awarded through the night; some determined by the Billboard committee/streams and the others voted by fans. Post Malone bagged the most awards of the night courtesy of streams to his music throughout the award consideration period. Other winners of the night include Khalid, Lizzo, Cardi B, the Jonas Brothers, BTS and Billie Eilish.
