Rudeboy Addresses Nigeria’s Political Situation, Unrest In New Song ‘Oga’

In the backdrop of the trending topic #EndSars and #StopPoliceBrutality in Nigeria, singer Rudeboy has dropped a new song tagged ‘Oga’.
In ‘Oga’ that was dropped on October 12, Rudeboy addresses the political situation and unrest in Nigeria.
The song has been dropped at a time that there have been calls for an end to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad unit (SARS), which has since been disbanded as well as an end to police brutality.
Rudeboy documents the sad reality of the Nigerian crime in the song where he questions the greed and circle of power distribution by Nigeria's political elites and their disposition to corruption.
‘Oga’ is a timely release that soundtracks the plight of modern Nigeria and echoes the sentiment of the everyday Nigerian.
The new song is a catchy upbeat track with a blend of Afrobeats, the Caribbean and Reggaeton sound.
Rudeboy has been among tens of Nigerian artists who have joined together to stand for ending Police Brutality, Election violence, SARS and corrupt leadership.
