Celebrated Kenyan rapper Femi One has dropped a new video dubbed ‘Kipetero Kiyesu’ featuring Sol Generation’s Nviiri the Storyteller.
‘Kipetero Kiyesu’ is a song that addresses betrayals in life. The phrase is from the Bible where Peter betrayed Jesus thrice.

In the song, Femi One highlights some instances where she was betrayed, starting with this guy who got her pregnant then later disappeared.
She also underscores the issue of false promises in Kenya where leaders promise a lot of things during campaigns then fail to deliver after winning the election.
Femi One puts MCSK on the spot for betraying artists despite them working hard to produce good music.
Listening to the new jam, you get to appreciate that Femi One and Nviiri are talented vocally. Femi one perfectly drops her verses while Nviiri melodically executes the chorus.
The message in the song is so powerful, making ‘Kipetero Kiyesu’ a must-watch video especially among Kenyans who endure betrayal every single day.
On YouTube, the video is doing well and has over 7,000 views in under two hours.
‘Kipetero Kiyesu’ is the first collaboration between Femi One and Nviiri. Judging by the chemistry and amazing executions, we can only hope that more collaborations between the two will come later.
